GERRY’S SHOP TERMS & CONDITIONS

When buying products from Gerry’s Shop, it is assumed that customers have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.

Gerry’s Shop reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions without notice. Customers’ continued use of Gerry’s Shop if the terms and conditions change indicates acceptance of these changes.

New Zealand law governs these terms and conditions.

PRICES

Orders from Gerry’s Shop for Gerry’s orders totaling $50 or more do not attract a shipping fee. All other orders attract a fee.

Prices of products in Gerry’s Shop may not be the same as prices in other retailers and only apply to products sold in Gerry’s Shop.

Gerry’s Shop may vary the prices of its products at any time without notice.

The prices of products in Gerry’s Shop are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.

If the price of your product changes while you are in the process of buying it, providing it is within an hour’s timeframe, the price at the time the order was begun will be the price the customer is charged.

PAYMENT

Gerry’s Shop accepts the following methods of payment:

  • Online with your credit card via Payment Express of Stripe, at Gerry’s Shop. The name that will appear on your credit card statement will be Ready To Roll Foods Ltd.
  • Phone through with your credit card: Email your order to customerservice@gerrys.co.nz and call Gerry’s Shop during work hours.

Gerry’s Shop reserves the right to refuse to accept payment from any customer for any reason whatsoever.

Orders over $50 from Gerry’s online shop do not attract a shipping fee. All other orders attract a fee.

It takes 2 to 3 working days for orders to arrive at their destination and delivery is by courier. Gerry’s Shop does not offer same-day or next-day service as its couriers are unable to guarantee this.

Deliveries are despatched every day except on weekends and public holidays.

A physical address is required (work or home) for all deliveries as Gerry’s Shop’s couriers do not deliver to post office boxes.

Gerry’s Shop assumes that any person accepting delivery of its products is authorised to do so on behalf of the customer unless otherwise notified.

Please add any special delivery requests in the notes area during the ordering process. Please note that if you ask for your delivery to be left in a safe place, it will be left at your own risk and Gerry’s Shop will not be held liable for it.

Gerry’s Shop reserves the right to withhold a delivery for any reason whatsoever. In this event, the customer will be notified and refunded and/or alternative delivery arrangements are made.

SHOPPING AT GERRY’S SHOP

Gerry’s Shop sells its own range of Gerry’s Wraps, and Australian-made Mountain Bread, for which the owners of Gerry’s Wraps, Ready To Roll Foods Ltd, are the authorised distributors in New Zealand.

You may change or cancel your order, providing it has not been dispatched yet, by contacting Gerry’s Shop at customerservice@gerrys.co.nz

If you wish to cancel your order after it has been despatched, you may incur a cancellation fee. Please contact Gerry’s Shop at customerservice@gerrys.co.nz during work hours.

Gerry’s Shop may cancel any part of an order (including orders already accepted) without any liability, in which event the customer will be alerted as soon as possible and refunded if necessary.

Gerry’s Shop reserves the right to refuse account registration of a customer for any reason whatsoever.

Gerry’s Shop reserves the right to suspend or terminate a customer’s account registration at any time for any reason whatsoever.

Gerry’s Shop reserves the right to make changes to its site content at any time without notice.

Any disputes will be settled subject to New Zealand law only.

PRIVACY

Customers should keep their Gerry’s Shop login details safe and confidential at all times.

Credit and debit card information is transmitted to Gerry’s Shop from an encrypted server and details are deleted after use. Gerry’s Shop does not receive customers’ personal banking information – it only receives their payment.

When registering a customer account for Gerry’s Shop, customers authorise Gerry’s Shop to collect, retain and use personal information about them. This information will be used by Gerry’s Shop to complete customers’ account registrations; help them make purchases & transactions in Gerry’s Shop; deliver purchased items; send advertising or promotional material about Gerry’s Shop; enforce any legal or other rights against customers should the occasion arise; and make improvements on gerrys.co.nz to give customers the best possible service from Gerry’s Shop.

Personal information about Gerry’s Shop’s customers will kept secure by Gerry’s Shop and will not be knowingly passed onto any third parties.

Any personal information supplied by a customer may be retained by Gerry’s Shop unless that customer requests otherwise.

However, Gerry’s Shop reserves the right to disclose a customer’s personal information when it believes it is appropriate to comply with the law, facilitate court proceedings or to otherwise protect Gerry’s Shop’s rights.

Gerry’s Shop uses ‘cookies’, which are small bits of text sent to customers’ browsers. These cookies help Gerry’s Shop’s website remember information about customers’ visits, like preferred language and other settings, to make successive visits easier and more useful to the customer. Customers can change the settings on their browsers so cookies are not received but this may prevent them from buying products from Gerry’s Shop.

Gerry’s Shop uses Google Analytics to collect information about customers including their location and number of visitors each day. We do not receive personal information like names and addresses of our visitors from Google Analytics. A small piece of code is placed on each of our web pages to count these statistics. This non-personal information helps us continually improve our site and our service to our customers.

Emails sent on behalf of Gerry’s Shop to registered shoppers may include code that measures email response and click-through activity.
